Welcome to RLC Projx, a living, creative storytelling ecosystem exploring life, memory, humor, and the moments that shape who we become.
The RLC Projx Collection is a set of four books (below) written by Robert L. Calixto that were originally started between 2008 and 2011. The Collection includes four different genres: memoir/biography (Absurd Adventures: A Memoir), historical fiction (The Legend of Lucia), coming-of-age fiction (The Sea of Cortez), and a children's rhyme book (A Half Moon in Late Afternoon). The books are available for purchase together as The RLC Projx Collection for $49.95 plus shipping. A signed gift collection is also available for $79.95 plus shipping. All four books may also be purchased individually from this website.
A Pirate Ship in the Clouds and Meet the Cloud Seekers are the first two books in The Cloud Seekers series, originally published in 2010.
The stories follow a group of curious children who discover adventure, friendship, and imagination in a world where the sky is not the limit—it is the beginning.
Second editions of both titles are currently in development, along with two additional books in the series: Whales in the Sky and Horses on the Horizon.
The Earth Is a Taco and The Earth Is a Pizza are companion stories currently in development, created to help children understand an important idea in a simple and memorable way—our differences make the world better.
The project began as a school play written in 2013, inspired by a real student named Adam, who is now pursuing his passion in culinary school.
Both titles will be released as illustrated children’s books and will include a short, approximately 25-minute play, along with production guidance for schools, classrooms, and community groups interested in bringing the story to life.
